Description

Two years after celebrated novelist Scott Landon's death, his widow Lisey is still clearing his writing space and remembering their shared past. Academics seek Scott's unpublished work, while a threatening stranger demands his papers. After Lisey refuses, she is stalked by Zack McCool, whose threats escalate into violence. A mysterious scavenger hunt draws her into repressed memories of Scott's troubled family and Boo'ya Moon, a dangerous alternate world. Her recollections begin with saving Scott from an insane fan and repeatedly approach memories she finds terrifying. Stephen King's novel combines psychological horror and romance as Lisey confronts dangers rooted in both memory and the present.
