Description

Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game is a military science-fiction novel set as humanity prepares for a possible third invasion by insectoid aliens called Formics. Children train from an early age through increasingly difficult games and zero-gravity exercises. At Battle School, Ender commands Dragon Army in simulated battles inside a weightless Battle Room, where his exceptional leadership enables the army to dominate its competition. After repeated victories, he advances to Command School for further training with a veteran tutor. There, Ender reunites with former leaders, and together they repeatedly fight battles presented to them as computer-controlled simulations, extending his training into a new and more demanding phase.
