Description

A nameless young woman has fled her former life with almost nothing, surviving through an unstable identity and a succession of relationships that leave little impression. Then she meets Enzo Vitale, an enigmatic man fascinated by the deep sea and its predators, and their charged encounter at a waterfall begins an increasingly dangerous connection. Enzo eventually lures her aboard his boat seeking revenge, but a massive storm strands them together on an abandoned island. Their only refuge is a decaying lighthouse whose caretaker may be more threatening than the weather outside. Isolation turns mutual hostility and attraction into a fight for survival, while the woman’s search for a self she can inhabit collides with men whose motives she cannot safely read.
