Description

A colossal blizzard cuts Little Tall Island, Maine, off from the mainland just as a stranger named Andre Linoge begins terrorizing its close-knit ferry community. Linoge knows the residents’ most private shames, can invade their minds, and provokes deadly violence even while confined by town officials. As the islanders shelter together in the town hall, his supernatural appearances make clear that the storm is only part of their danger. He has come to demand a particular sacrifice, and his interest in Mike Anderson’s young son makes the threat personal. Presented in screenplay form, this supernatural horror story turns communal secrecy into a moral siege, forcing an isolated town toward an impossible collective decision.
