Description

As the Olympians fight the Titans, Percy Jackson learns that a spy has compromised Camp Half-Blood and that the Great Prophecy may determine his fate. With Poseidon’s underwater palace under siege and Kronos preparing his decisive assault, Percy follows Nico di Angelo into the Underworld to assume the dangerous curse of Achilles. The choice may give him the strength to resist the Titan army, but it also leaves a hidden vulnerability. Percy then rallies the divided young demigods to defend a nearly unprotected New York City, with Mount Olympus standing above the Empire State Building. Mythological combat, friendship, betrayal, and questions of destiny converge in a last stand that completes Percy’s central struggle with Kronos.
