Eighteen-year-old Scarlet Benoit works on her grandmother’s farm in rural France, refusing to accept the authorities’ assumption that the missing woman left voluntarily. Her search leads to Wolf, a guarded street fighter whose tattoo links him to the group Scarlet believes carried out the kidnapping. As the pair travel toward Paris, a contagious outbreak drives them from their train and into increasingly dangerous territory, while Wolf’s knowledge makes him both essential and difficult to trust. Elsewhere, the escaped prisoner Cinder joins Captain Thorne and begins pursuing the same mystery under pressure from Queen Levana’s Lunar forces. The intertwined journeys recast Little Red Riding Hood as a futuristic pursuit shaped by family loyalty, secrecy, and uncertain alliances.
