Description

Alice Oseman is an English author and illustrator whose young adult novels and graphic fiction stay close to contemporary British teenagers as they negotiate friendship, sexuality, mental health, and the pressures of being seen clearly by others. Her method is intimate and direct. Conversational dialogue, spare visual sequences, and small changes in gesture or routine carry much of the emotional movement, while relationships develop through hesitation, misunderstanding, and repeated acts of care.
