Description

Dorothy, a farm girl from Kansas, is swept with her dog Toto into the dazzling and dangerous Land of Oz. Told that the mysterious Wizard may be able to send her home, she follows the yellow brick road toward the Emerald City. Along the way she befriends a Scarecrow longing for a brain, a Tin Woodman seeking a heart, and a Cowardly Lion who wants courage. Their shared hopes turn the journey into a test of loyalty and resourcefulness when the Wizard demands that they defeat the Wicked Witch of the West. Whimsical encounters and sudden perils shape a quest about home, friendship, and the qualities people fail to recognize in themselves.
