The Mall

Mystery and thriller

Description

Teenager Trish takes a job at a mall food shop partly because her two closest friends already work in the same shopping center. The ordinary shift routine turns threatening when an unnerving customer appears and a caller begins revealing intimate knowledge of her movements. As food, furniture, and household objects inexplicably vanish, the mall itself becomes part of the mystery. Years of remodeling have left isolated areas and concealed routes behind the storefronts, giving Trish’s stalker a hidden way to follow her. Her attempt to identify the watcher and stay alive transforms a familiar teenage workplace into a claustrophobic maze where public crowds offer little protection from someone operating just out of sight.
