Nate has an overdue report outline on the War of 1812, a nervous streak when performing, and a talent for turning manageable problems into public disasters. When maple syrup ruins his first outline, he must start again just as his school launches the health-focused Fitness Zone. Nate’s band is invited to perform at the program’s assembly, but insulting notes about Artur, harassment from popular students, and Nate’s own carelessness threaten the collaboration. Then a lucky-foot charm seems to reverse his fortunes. As sudden success collides with unfinished schoolwork and a poor social studies grade, the comedy asks whether Nate has truly entered a winning streak or merely found new ways to tempt disaster.
