Glory and her fellow dragonets enter the rain forest hoping to find shelter from the war consuming the dragon kingdoms. Glory has spent her life hearing that RainWings are lazy and insignificant, yet she knows her tribe’s color-changing scales and her own deadly venom make them far more formidable than outsiders assume. The RainWings she meets seem peaceful, comfortable, and strangely indifferent to events beyond their forest. Then members of the tribe begin to disappear. Determined to learn what is happening, Glory draws the other dragonets into an investigation that challenges the RainWings’ complacency and connects their hidden home to the wider conflict. This Wings of Fire adventure combines a lush fantasy setting with questions of prejudice, responsibility, and leadership.
