Description

Knox is a solitary barber in Knockemout, Virginia, who prefers a quiet life with his basset hound. His routine is disrupted when Naomi arrives as a runaway bride on her way to help her estranged twin. The twin leaves Naomi with an unexpected eleven-year-old niece and without transportation, work, a plan, or a home. Although Knox avoids complications, he steps in to help Naomi and the girl after Naomi’s life implodes. He expects to return to solitude, but that plan changes when Naomi’s troubles become genuinely dangerous. Their arrival draws Knox into a crisis that challenges the isolated life he has tried to preserve.
