Peter Pan, a flying boy who refuses to grow up, enters the London nursery of Wendy Darling and her brothers, John and Michael. With the fairy Tinker Bell, he teaches them to fly and carries them to Neverland, an island of mermaids, pirates, Indigenous inhabitants, and children who have slipped beyond ordinary family life. Wendy becomes a motherly presence among Peter’s Lost Boys, while the vengeful Captain Hook turns their games into genuine danger. Beneath the sword fights, rescues, and shifting loyalties lies a sharper choice: remain inside Peter’s endless childhood or return to a world of time, responsibility, and change. The fantasy balances exuberant adventure with melancholy about memory, growing older, and the cost of never doing so.
