Book genre, tone and reading profile API

Categorical values appear in traits, complexity values in scores, and derived reading demand in projections. Genre categories also appear in the work taxonomy. Use available values and leave unknown fields empty rather than inventing a score.

Profiles are AI-assisted and reviewed assessments. They are not objective difficulty ratings or a guarantee of enjoyment.

Keep keys on your server. Save matched IDs and compare record versions when refreshing data. Missing fields should not overwrite good values in your catalog.

Access is by approval. Commercial storage and reuse follow your agreed terms. Ebook files, inventory and cover-image redistribution rights are outside the API.
